Whether your wanting to take your making to the next level or having a go for the first time our evening class is for you.

Wheel throwing will cover all the basics of working on the potters wheel. During the first six sessions we will cover clay preparation, bowl and cylindrical forms, turning, handling and decorative techniques. In the last four session students will be able to explore these processes or objects in greater depth in a self directed fashion whilst still being supported and guided with demonstration and pointers from your tutor.

Monday evening class is taught by Hamish Symonds and is aimed at those who have ever little or no experience of working on the potters wheel. Wednesday evening class is taught by Jack Welbourne and is aimed at those who have some experience of working on the wheel and are looking to develop there making and ideas further however beginners are also welcome on Wednesday evenings.

If students wish to keep pots they can do so, this is costed based on the volume of each item at 50p per 5cm cubed.
